I continuously strive to love what I do and to create great things. I thrive on seeing working software in customers’ hands and the excitement of improving it further. My career goal is to help humans with technology and figure out problems that make me happy to solve.

Ultimately, I want to build cool things around fascinating people.

Launched an iOS game as a solo project for fun some while ago (Obj-C), designed and developed a solution for tracking cars down the assembly line for Honda Motors in Indiana (JS, Node-Red). Explored the startup scene with a product to support language learning using NLP (Python). Among several other cool programming challenges.

MSc. Thesis - Expanding QDAcity

I worked for 3 years for an L.A.-based company, then moved to Germany to pursue an MSc. degree. For my thesis, I designed and developed a module to assist interview transcription in qualitative research software (React, Java, Google Cloud Speech-to-Text).

Wearing many hats. Around solutions architect, PM, and field engineer. Mostly in Brazil and the US across several industries. Responsible for all aspects of a Mojix RFID deployment, from gathering customer requirements during pre-sales activities to system design, configuration, tuning, and managing a successful deployment.

Hi there

I’m currently a working student at Siemens Healthineers at the data science and analytics division working mostly with power BI and frontend dev.

In the past, I worked for 1 year at the university and almost 3 years at Mojix, an L.A. based company focused on RFID and asset tracking. I started as an iOS Developer. We had an iOS app that connected via bluetooth to the HH RFID Reader and was interacting with the IoT platform.

By the end I was leading projects, let's say between solutions architect and field engineer, mostly in Brazil and the US across several industries, from people tracking at the Rio de Janeiro carnival to asset tracking at the third biggest plane manufacturer in the world, Embraer. I also had projects tracking cars down the assembly line with Honda Motors in the automotive industry and retail projects in the US. My projects won internal and external awards.

I’ve recently finished my masters degree in information systems in Nürnberg, Germany. For my MSc. thesis I expanded a university research software. Full stack using Google Cloud speech to text, react on the FE and java on the BE.

My next objective is to land a great position as a software engineer, work on cool, meaningful projects, solve interesting problems and keep learning.

In my free time I am usually reading, learning something, playing sports or just hanging out with friends.
