Personal colour analysis, starting with a selfie.
Choosing colours that suit you can feel like guesswork. I built ColorMatchAI around a simple experience: upload a selfie and receive an AI-generated personal colour analysis with a palette and practical guidance.
The goal was to turn a complex topic into something people could explore without needing to understand colour theory first.
What I built
I developed the product and its production infrastructure, connecting the photo-to-report experience with the backend and deployment workflow.
The infrastructure includes MySQL, Docker, and automated deployment through GitHub Actions and GitHub Container Registry.
Beyond the code
ColorMatchAI was also an experiment in building and selling a small consumer product. It gave me experience with the full journey—from a visitor’s first impression to receiving a useful result—and the work required to operate a product after launch.
